The Backstage PassCave B Estate · The Gorge
The Home
Designed by the renowned Olson Kundig studio — a home of exposed steel, polished concrete, and warm wood, framed entirely around the view.
Comfort · Style · Convenience
Looking for a vacation rental that delivers the best in both comfort and location? This is the area's premier property — modern facilities, singular design, and a front-row seat to the Columbia River Gorge.
From the outset, our vision has been to create a space that inspires guests to relax, enjoy, and explore. Spend your time fully stocked indoors — spinning vinyl on the turntable, cooking in the fully stocked chef's kitchen with Bosch appliances — or step outside to wine, trails, and live music. However you stay, you'll wake to rows of vines and sleep to the quietest night sky in Washington.
The Arrival
The pavement turns to gravel and the ridge opens up in front of you — yet you stay effortlessly connected, with strong cell coverage and fast Wi-Fi throughout the property. Park the car, leash up the dogs, and take the walk to your door as the desert glows gold.
This is the part where your shoulders drop — you've arrived, and there's nowhere else you need to be. Bring the whole family, four-legged members included.

The Living Spaces
The main living space opens completely to the gorge through floor-to-ceiling windows. Polished concrete floors, hot-rolled steel, and a wood-clad ceiling create a warm, gallery-like calm — with the river and sky as the only artwork you'll need.

The Kitchen
Fully equipped with Bosch appliances and everything you need to cook a feast — or just pour the wine you carried back from the tasting room. The dining table seats the whole group with the gorge as your backdrop.

Rest
Wake to light pouring across the desert and river, or pull the blackout shades to wake up slow. A plush king bed — plus a high-end queen sleeper sofa for extra guests — with spa robes and a walk-in spa or rain shower tiled floor to ceiling, make every morning feel like a resort, because next door, it is one. Climate-controlled with its own HVAC and a TV for easy nights in.

The Outdoors
This is where you'll spend golden hour: a private patio on the edge of the ridge, lounge seating warmed by an overhead ceiling heater, and a grill ready for dinner under the stars. Keep an eye out for the deer and birds that drift across the ridge. When the sun drops behind the gorge, you'll understand why people drive hours for this view.
